The killer of civil engineer Rahul Kumar, who was murdered in Gulistan-e-Johar, has been arrested with the help of CCTV footage.
According to the police, the case of civil engineer Rahul Kumar’s murder, which occurred near the Gulistan-e-Johar roundabout on December 3, has been solved. The accused, Shank Sharma, is also the cousin of the victim’s wife. Further investigation is underway to determine who else was involved in the murder and the motive behind it.
The police revealed that the killer entered the house after changing his appearance, but the CCTV cameras installed in the building showed footage of the suspect entering the flat, which helped identify him. The police also mentioned that the victim’s family had suspected Shank Sharma. The accused, Shank Sharma, slit Rahul’s throat with a sharp object. Additionally, the victim’s wife delayed informing the police about the murder and attempted to make it look like a robbery.
