A meeting of the Ruet-e-Hilal Committee has been called today to see the moon of the month of Shaban.
A meeting of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee and meetings of the Zonal Ruet-e-Hilal Committees have been called regarding the sighting of the moon in the month of Shaban.
The meeting will be chaired by the Chairman of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee Pakistan, Maulana Syed Muhammad Abdul Khabir Azad. The meetings of the Zonal Committees will also be held in their respective headquarters in Lahore, Karachi, Quetta, and Peshawar.
The announcement regarding the sighting or not of the moon will be made by the Chairman of the Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee, Maulana Syed Muhammad Abdul Khabir Azad.On the other hand, the expected dates for the first Ramadan and Eid-ul-Fitr in Pakistan this year 2025 have been revealed.
According to astronomers, the Ramadan moon will be sighted in Pakistan on February 28 or March 1. Thus, the first Ramadan will be on March 1 or March 2. Similarly, the Eid-ul-Fitr moon will likely be sighted on March 29 or 30.
Thus, Eid-ul-Fitr will be celebrated on March 30 or 31.
