Following Australia, the England cricket team has also arrived in Lahore to participate in the mega event. Late at night, a 31-member contingent of England’s players and support staff reached Lahore.
The team includes captain Jos Buttler, head coach Brendon McCullum, Adil Rashid, Saqib Mahmood, Liam Livingstone, Harry Brook, Mark Wood, Joe Root, Ben Duckett, and other players.
The English team was transported from the airport to a private hotel under strict security arrangements. England will play their first match of the Champions Trophy against Australia on February 22 at the Gaddafi Stadium.
