The Saudi Ministry of Education announced on Thursday the end of classes for the second semester of the current academic year 1446H (2025) and declared a 9-day holiday for Foundation Day and the winter break.
According to Okaz, the ministry emphasized the need to complete the recording, correction, monitoring, and review of all subjects in the e-education system Noor and to announce students’ results.
The ministry clarified that it is necessary to prepare the schedule for the second round of secondary school exams, integrate it into the Noor system, and create a schedule for alternative exams for absent students in the primary and intermediate stages.
It is worth noting that Saudi and international schools will remain closed from Friday, February 21, to March 1, 2025. Schools will reopen on March 2, 2025.
Earlier, the ministry had issued a statement announcing school timings during Ramadan, according to which the morning shift will start at 9:00 AM, the afternoon shift at 1:00 PM, and the third shift at 9:30 PM.
