President Asif Ali Zardari held a key meeting with Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi at Aiwan-e-Sadr, where they discussed India’s recent irresponsible actions and the prevailing national security situation in detail.
According to a private TV channel, Mohsin Naqvi briefed President Zardari on India’s baseless accusations and irrational steps. During the meeting, the interior minister also informed the president about the decisions taken in the recent National Security Committee meeting and the proposed countermeasures.
President Zardari appreciated the timely, swift, and visionary decisions of the National Security Committee, stating that the committee’s decisions reflect the sentiments and aspirations of the Pakistani nation. He affirmed that the entire nation stands with the committee and is united in defending the homeland.
He further stated that India’s baseless allegations and irrational steps are unjustified, and Pakistan is fully capable of responding to any aggression.
Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi reiterated that the enemy must remain under no illusion — Pakistan’s defense is invincible, and there will be no compromise on national security.
