Shab Barat will be celebrated with devotion and respect across the country today. Special arrangements will be made for post-mortem prayers and night vigils at mosques and homes.
On Shab-e-Barat, blessed gatherings will be organized in mosques and other places of worship in all cities across the country, there will be vigils and prayers and Nawafl will be offered throughout the night.
Children of Islam will pray before Allah for repentance from their sins, peace of the country and nation, exaltation of the world of Islam and forgiveness of their deceased and high status in the presence of Allah Almighty.
On the occasion of Shab Barat, people will also go to the graveyards to offer flowers on the graves of their loved ones and recite Fatiha.
