Pakistan Stock Exchange shattered all previous records of growth following the ceasefire agreement between Pakistan and India.
On the first day of the trading week, the market witnessed a strong bullish trend from the opening bell. At one point, the KSE-100 Index soared by 9,929 points, reaching a trading level of 117,104.
For the first time in history, the market experienced a single-session gain of 9,929 points during trading. Due to this record surge, trading was halted for one hour shortly after the market opened.
After the one-hour suspension, trading resumed and the bullish trend continued. The KSE-100 Index climbed 9,475 points to settle at 116,650.
In the previous trading session, the KSE-100 Index had also closed on a positive note, ending with a gain of 3,647 points at 107,174.
