ISLAMABAD – Pakistan has categorically rejected the baseless, provocative, irresponsible, and false allegations made by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
In a statement issued by the Foreign Office spokesperson, it was said that the Indian Prime Minister’s remarks are an attempt to escalate regional tensions. The false accusations and military claims are in violation of the UN Charter and international laws.
The spokesperson emphasized that Pakistan remains a consistent and effective partner in the fight against global terrorism. Attempts to link Pakistan with terrorism are misleading and unacceptable.
The statement further added that India targets Pakistan to divert attention from its atrocities in Indian-occupied Jammu and Kashmir, which have already been exposed globally.
The spokesperson urged the Indian leadership to act responsibly and exercise restraint, warning that such provocative statements threaten regional peace.
Pakistan is committed to peace, stability, and constructive dialogue. The desire for peace should not be mistaken for weakness, the spokesperson stated, adding that Pakistan is fully capable of defending its sovereignty and will give a befitting response to any aggression. The international community must take notice of India’s war-mongering rhetoric and hateful posture.
