Karachi is expected to experience humid weather and partly cloudy skies over the next 24 hours, with chances of light rain or drizzle in some areas.
According to the Meteorological Department, the maximum temperature in the city may range between 35 to 37 degrees Celsius, while the humidity level has been recorded at 76 percent.
The department stated that sea breezes are currently inactive in Karachi, though winds from the southwest are expected. Over the past 24 hours, the minimum temperature recorded in the city was 29 degrees Celsius.
As per the Meteorological Department, rainfall is expected in Karachi from Friday to Sunday under the influence of the monsoon system. The first spell of monsoon rain may begin Friday evening, with intermittent heavy rainfall forecasted for Saturday.
The department has warned of a risk of urban flooding due to heavy rain on Saturday, while intermittent rainfall is also likely to continue on Sunday.
