Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir met with trainee officers of the 52nd Common batch from the Civil Services Academy at the Army Auditorium in Rawalpindi.
According to ISPR, these trainee officers were earlier attached to various Pakistan Army formations in operational areas across Azad Kashmir, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, and Balochistan. During this time, the officers gained practical insights and firsthand experience in diverse field conditions. The meeting with Field Marshal Asim Munir was part of a broader national initiative aimed at strengthening institutional harmony and deepening mutual understanding between Pakistan’s civil and military leadership.
In his address, Field Marshal Asim Munir discussed key issues including national security needs, current internal and external challenges, and the critical role of the armed forces in maintaining regional peace and national stability. He emphasized the need for inter-institutional coordination, mutual respect, and a unified national purpose to advance Pakistan’s strategic and developmental objectives.
The Chief of Army Staff highlighted the essential role of a competent, transparent, and service-oriented civil bureaucracy within the state governance structure. He urged young officers to uphold the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and patriotism in fulfilling their responsibilities.
The participants appreciated the senior military leadership’s strategic vision, operational readiness, and multi-dimensional contributions to national development.
