The International Cricket Council (ICC) has released the latest One Day International (ODI) player rankings following the conclusion of the Champions Trophy, revealing notable shifts in both batting and bowling charts.
In the batting rankings, India’s opener Shubman Gill has maintained his number one position thanks to his consistent performances, while Pakistan’s star batter and former captain Babar Azam has also held on to his second spot.
Indian captain Rohit Sharma climbed two places to secure third position after delivering an outstanding innings in the final match.
In the bowling rankings, Sri Lanka’s spinner Maheesh Theekshana continues to hold the top position. New Zealand’s captain and spin all-rounder Mitchell Santner jumped six places to move into second, while Indian spinner Kuldeep Yadav improved three spots to claim third place.
