A lecturer from Balochistan’s BUITEMS University has admitted in his confessional statement that he committed treason against the state, expressing deep regret and shame over his actions.
The statement was aired during a press conference held by Balochistan Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti in Quetta. In his confession, the accused revealed that they used the Telegram application for terrorist activities, receiving targets from Harbiyar abroad.
The lecturer openly admitted to betraying the state and expressed remorse for his actions. He advised the youth and students to distance themselves from organizations that spread chaos and instead focus their energy on education.
In his statement, he also acknowledged facilitating terrorist operations. He said that the state had given him respect and dignity, but despite this, he chose to betray his country — a decision he now deeply regrets.
It should be noted that Chief Minister Sarfraz Bugti stated during the press conference that security forces had foiled a major plan of destruction on Independence Day. He added that a professor who acted as a facilitator for the BLA had been arrested in Quetta. He further said that the narrative of deprivation was exposed, urging the people of Balochistan to stay away from such elements.
