Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif met with Chief of Air Staff, Air Chief Marshal Zaheer Ahmad Babar Sidhu, on Tuesday in Islamabad, where they discussed professional matters of the Pakistan Air Force and defense-related issues.
According to a statement issued by the Prime Minister’s Office Media Wing, the Prime Minister paid rich tribute to the role of the Pakistan Air Force in safeguarding the homeland. He stated that the PAF pilots have always thwarted the enemy’s designs with unmatched courage. Referring to the “Battle of Truth,” he said that during that operation, PAF fighters struck a decisive blow by downing enemy aircraft, showcasing exemplary bravery that will be remembered in history.
The Prime Minister further emphasized that the PAF’s “Shaheens” stand like a solid wall in defense of the nation’s skies, and their professional capabilities continue to strengthen national defense. The meeting also included discussions on other professional affairs and matters concerning national security.
