ISLAMABAD: Former US ambassador Zalmay Khalilzad has said that the arrest of Imran Khan will create further crises. Imprisoning political leaders, hanging them, or having them killed is not the right way.
In his tweet, Zalmay Khalilzad stated that Pakistan is currently facing three major crises, political, economic, and security. In the current situation of Pakistan, I suggest two solutions. First, set a date for the elections in June to stop the crisis and whichever party wins the elections should be given a mandate.
Second, all political parties should sit together to identify issues and develop a future plan to move towards stability, security, and happiness in the country.
