Inspector General of Police (IGP) Punjab Dr.Usman Anwar has stated that if anyone opens fire on the police, they will respond with gunfire. Terrorists will not be allowed to roam freely anywhere.
While addressing Lahore Police Lines, the IGP Punjab said that allegations are being leveled against the Punjab Police, and threats are being made against us and our children. If those making the allegations cannot present evidence to support them, they will be eliminated.
The IGP Punjab stated that those who attack the police should not be spared; instead, they should be apprehended. If anyone fires at the police, they will respond with gunfire. Terrorists will not be allowed to roam freely anywhere.
He added that foolproof security arrangements will be made for political party gatherings, and security for each person in the province will be ensured. On the day of the election, we will provide security.
