Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif has praised the efforts of the field marshal in the revival of the national economy, stating that a strong partnership between the government and the armed forces is in the best interest of the country. He emphasized that close coordination between civilian and military leadership is essential for national progress and stability.
Addressing a ceremony in Islamabad, the prime minister said that after victory in the “Marka-e-Haq,” Pakistan has attained a unique position on the global stage. He added that the world is now listening to Pakistan and reaching out for investment opportunities, reflecting growing international confidence.
Shehbaz Sharif said that without the support of Field Marshal Syed Asim Munir, resolving several key challenges would not have been possible. He noted that the armed forces have consistently played a constructive and responsible role in matters of national importance.
The prime minister further said that if the partnership between the government and the military continues in the same spirit, Pakistan will emerge as a strong and influential country on the world map. He remarked that even India would be left astonished at how Pakistan has transformed into such a resilient and powerful state.
