On the occasion of Pakistan Day, the world’s tallest building, Burj Khalifa in the United Arab Emirates, was illuminated in the green and white colors of the Pakistani flag, creating a powerful and emotional moment for the Pakistani community and reflecting a sense of national pride.
A large number of people, including members of the Pakistani community, gathered in Downtown Dubai to witness the iconic display, where attendees captured photos and videos, shared the moment with each other, and celebrated the occasion with great enthusiasm.
It is worth noting that for over a decade, Burj Khalifa has been regularly illuminated in Pakistan’s national colors on important occasions such as Pakistan Day and Independence Day, symbolizing the strong and friendly relations between Pakistan and the United Arab Emirates.
In addition, flag-hoisting ceremonies were formally held at the Pakistani Embassy and the Consulate in Dubai, where members of the Pakistani community participated actively and celebrated the national day with pride.
In Abu Dhabi, Pakistan’s Ambassador Shafqat Ali Khan hoisted the national flag and offered special prayers for Pakistanis who were martyred in recent conflicts, expressing hopes for the country’s peace and stability.
He also paid tribute to the ongoing struggle of the Kashmiri people for their right to self-determination and reiterated Pakistan’s consistent and principled stance on the issue.
