Speaking at a news conference in Karachi, Sharjeel Memon said that Imran Khan has some support in the conspiracies against the country. Some umpires supported him in 2018, and he still has some support. In the KP BRT case, he continued to receive successive stay orders.
He said that there is a series of a specific bench that is helping Imran Khan in his unconstitutional actions. A year ago, a prime minister was removed through a vote of no-confidence, who was the only prime minister in the country’s history to be removed through parliamentary traditions. This person is still trying to harm the country.
He said that anyone can be pressured at home, but can you save someone’s corruption in that situation? Imran Khan’s sister took advantage of an amnesty scheme. His entire family is involved in corruption. If a specific bench keeps protecting them, what should be understood? Why isn’t there an open debate on this issue? There should be a great debate in Pakistan. Lawyers and journalists should discuss this.
