Pakistan’s trade deficit with Saudi Arabia fell by 18.37 percent during the first two months of the current fiscal year, reaching $471 million.
According to government data, the trade deficit between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia stood at $577 million during the same period of the previous fiscal year.
Sources said that Pakistan’s exports to Saudi Arabia amounted to $98 million during the first two months of the current fiscal year, July and August 2026. During the same period last year, Pakistani exports stood at $102 million.
As a result, Pakistan’s exports to Saudi Arabia declined by 3.92 percent during the first two months.
Sources added that Pakistan’s imports from Saudi Arabia also recorded a significant decline during the first two months of the current fiscal year, contributing to the reduction in the overall trade deficit.
