The meteorological department has predicted more rains in other cities including Karachi from next week. Heavy rain with thunderstorms and hail are also likely to occur across the country.
According to the Meteorological Department, they have forecasted more rainfall in Karachi and other cities starting from next week. Clouds are expected to bring rain once again to the northern and central regions of the country, as western winds will enter these areas from May 28 onwards, initiating a series of rainfall throughout the country until May 30.
The Meteorological Department has indicated the possibility of below-average temperatures in the country and mentioned that during May 30, there is a chance of thunderstorms accompanied by rain and gusty winds in most places of Balochistan and southern Punjab. During this period, cities such as Karachi, Sukkur, Dadu, Hyderabad, Jacobabad, Larkana, Shahid Benazirabad, Mirpur Khas, and Khairpur may also experience cloudy weather with rainfall.
As per the Meteorological Department, most areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa will witness thunderstorms and lightning along with rainfall, while cloudy weather with rain is expected in Azad Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan.
The department also stated that there is a possibility of thunderstorms, gusty winds, and rain in Punjab, including Islamabad, Murree, Galliyat, Rawalpindi, Attock, Jhelum, Chakwal, and Gujranwala. During this period, some places may also experience heavy showers and hailstorm.
