Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Chief Organizer Maryam Nawaz has criticized Prime Minister Imran Khan, Chairman of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), stating that if the test of a jackal comes, he would catch America’s feet. The world remembers those who run the country, not those who burn it.
In her address at the Youm-e-Takbeer rally at Liberty Chowk in Lahore, Maryam Nawaz said, “Imran Khan kept saying that it was an American conspiracy. We do not want slavery; we want real freedom. And now he is asking us to issue a statement because when America issues a statement, it creates a stir in Pakistan. If the test of a jackal comes, he grabs America’s feet.”
Maryam Nawaz further stated that the world remembers those who lead the country, not those who ignite it. From Pakistan’s defense to progress, there is only one name, Nawaz Sharif. Despite facing so much revenge, Nawaz Sharif’s party did not break. His companions stood by him like a strong wall, and on the other hand, everything crumbled within minutes. Difficult times come upon nations, but a leader stands tall before the nation like a shield.
While discussing Pakistan’s nuclear capabilities, Maryam Nawaz stated that when India conducted atomic explosions, Nawaz Sharif was on a foreign trip. Nawaz Sharif carried out nuclear tests 17 days after the Indian explosions.
The Chief Organizer of the Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) said that Bill Clinton had advised Nawaz Sharif not to conduct nuclear tests and offered him $5 billion. However, Nawaz Sharif responded by saying that he would remain loyal to his nation and soil, keeping the dollars to himself. If a cowardly leadership were in place at the time of May 28, 1998, they would have hidden their faces and concealed the bullets. Brave nations are led by courageous leaders.
Regarding the arrest of PTI Chairman Imran Khan and discussing the strategy of protests, Maryam Nawaz said that defense symbols and buildings were set on fire, enemy-used weapons were thrown into the river, and the planes used for dropping bombs on the enemy were set ablaze. Pakistanis! Do you want to keep Pakistan alive like on May 28 or like on May 9?
