Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif will chair the meeting of the Investment Facilitation Council’s Apex Committee today. The economic situation of the country will be reviewed in the meeting.
Shahbaz Sharif will preside over the meeting of the Apex Committee of the Special Investment Facilitation Council.
The meeting, to be held at the PM House, will be attended by Chief Ministers, Federal Ministers, and military officials, including Army Chief General Asim Munir.
The meeting will review the progress made after the establishment of the Apex Committee Council and consider the recommendations of the Implementation Committee.
The Apex Committee will also approve the arrival of delegations from international investors and the adoption of a framework for facilitation.
It should be noted that a few days ago, Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif formed the Apex Committee to implement the decisions of the Special Investment Facilitation Council.
The government had announced a major initiative for economic revival, which is being considered as a significant ten-year plan, even bigger than the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC).
Sources stated that the established Apex Committee for economic revival will develop a framework for foreign investment and facilitate countries interested in investing in Pakistan.
