CTD (Counter Terrorism Department) has apprehended 7 dangerous terrorists in various cities of Punjab, who are associated with banned organizations.
CTD conducted operations in different cities of Punjab, including Rawalpindi, Sahiwal, Bahawalpur, and Gujranwala, based on secret information, and successfully captured 7 dangerous terrorists. The authorities recovered explosives, detonators, weapons, mobile phones, and cash from their possession.
According to CTD officials, the arrested terrorists have links with banned organizations, Al-Qaeda and TTP (Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan). Cases have been registered against them, and investigations have begun.
As per the CTD spokesperson, a total of 139 combing operations were conducted in Punjab last week, during which 8,523 individuals were interrogated. Additionally, 18 suspicious individuals were also apprehended.
