Karachi: The Meteorological Department has forecasted the possibility of rain in Karachi from tomorrow until July 24th. According Chief Meteorologist Monsoon winds may enter eastern Sindh from this evening.
According to Chief Meteorologist Sardar Sarfraz, the Monsoon winds can enter eastern Sindh from this evening, and under its influence, there is a chance of widespread rain with thunderstorms in most parts of Sindh from July 20th to 24th, including Karachi.
The Chief Meteorologist stated that during the second spell of Monsoon, most areas of Karachi may experience light to moderate rainfall, while some places might receive heavy showers as well.
Sardar Sarfraz also mentioned that there is a possibility of rain returning to Karachi around July 24th or 25th, as the Monsoon system’s impact may trigger another series of showers.
On the other hand, weather analyst Jawad Memon predicts that Karachi will remain hot and humid today and tomorrow, with temperatures reaching 35 to 38 degrees Celsius.
He further stated that the current spell of rainfall, starting from July 20th, will continue until July 30th. This system will have a two-phase effect, with the second phase likely to bring heavy rainfall on a larger scale, starting from July 24th.
