The downward trend of the dollar continues as the value of the rupee further increased. The dollar has decreased by 1.24 rupees and is now at 286.50 rupees.
At the beginning of the business week, in interbank trading, the dollar became cheaper by 24 paise, reaching 286 rupees and 50 paise.
During the last trading day of the previous business week, the dollar had closed at 287 rupees and 74 paise.
On the other hand, Pakistan Stock Exchange witnessed a positive trend in business. The 100-index of the stock exchange reached 46,625 points after an increase of 393 points.
