Jamaat-e-Islami leader Siraj ul Haq has said that the reduction of only 8 rupees in the petrol price is a mockery with the nation. He said that the price of petrol should be fixed at Rs 150 per litre.
According to details, Siraj ul Haq stated that the decrease in the global market in the prices of petrol and the dollar has not benefitted the public. Instead of causing distress to the people, relief should be given by fixing the petrol price at 150 rupees per liter.
Petrol and diesel are now cheaper by 8 and 11 rupees per liter, respectively.
He stated that all three ruling parties are responsible for the current national situation. Corruption, mismanagement, and lawlessness are leading Pakistanis towards destruction every day.
The Jamaat-e-Islami leader further stated that the Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) abandoned the agreements with IPPI (Independent Power Producers) and even discouraged the East India Company. The Muslim League-N government further exacerbated these agreements.
Petrol and diesel are cheaper, while gas has become expensive.
It should be noted that the price of petrol has been reduced by 8 rupees and the price of high-speed diesel has been reduced by 11 rupees per liter. After this change, the new price of petrol is 323 rupees and 38 paise, while the price of diesel is 318 rupees and 18 paise.
