With the improvement in the value of the rupee in the interbank market, the American dollar has further depreciated, while the stock exchange continued to witness a downward trend for the second consecutive day.
On the third day of the business week, a decrease of 5 paisas was recorded in the value of the American currency in the interbank market, causing the dollar to decrease to Rs. 278.25 from Rs. 278.30.
On the other hand, Pakistan Stock Exchange saw volatility in business, with a decrease of 126 points recorded in the 100-index, bringing it down to 74,539 levels after the decline.
