Severe heat will persist in most parts of the country, while rain with thunderstorms is expected in some areas, including Azad Kashmir and upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
The Meteorological Department has forecasted hot and dry weather for most plain areas of the country, including the federal capital Islamabad, with rain and thunderstorms expected in Dir, Swat, Kohistan, Chitral, and Balakot.
The Meteorological Department states that the intensity of heat is expected to increase further in upper districts of Sindh, including Karachi. The coastal areas of Sindh will remain hot and humid, while strong dusty winds are expected in central and southern districts of Sindh.
According to the Meteorological Department, strong winds and thunderstorms are expected at a few places in Gilgit-Baltistan, Azad Kashmir, and upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
