PCB refuses to issue NOCs to cricketers for Zimbabwe T-Ten League.
The participation of Pakistani cricketers in the Zum Afro T-Ten League scheduled from September 21 in Harare, Zimbabwe has been thrown into question as the PCB refuses to issue NOCs to the national cricketers.
7 Pakistani cricketers have been selected for Zam Afro League including Shahnawaz Dhani, Asif Ali, Haider Ali, Yasir Shah, Muhammad Irfan, Sharjeel Khan, and Salman Irshad.
Shahnawaz Dhani, Asif Ali, and Hyder Ali are currently part of the PCB Champions ODI Cup teams in Faisalabad, The Pakistan Cricket Board has not yet issued NOC to the national cricketer for the league.
The PCB officials are of the position that Zum Afro T10 League has not yet received approval from ICC, so how can NOC be given? C will not be found.
If the Pakistan Cricket Board sticks to the policy of not giving NOC, then only fast bowlers Mohammad Irfan and Salman Irshad will be able to play in this league as both the players are not part of any PCB contract at the moment.
On the other hand, the Zam Afro T10 League spokesperson maintains that the Zimbabwe Cricket Board is a full-board member of the ICC and has given permission to conduct the league, so there is no need for ICC’s approval.
