There has been an increase in cases of dengue, malaria, and chikungunya in Karachi.
The administration of Abbasi Shaheed Hospital says that more than three hundred patients are being brought for dengue, malaria, and chicken gonorrhea every day.
According to the administration, 1600 patients are brought to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital for check-ups every day, among them more than 300 patients are suffering from Chikungunya Malaria.
Experts say that the absence of mosquito control spray in the city after the monsoon season is a reason for the spread of diseases. The KMC administration stated that it previously had 100 vehicles for mosquito control spray, but now only 30 remain, making the spraying efforts in the city insufficient.
