The Article 63A revision case was heard in the Supreme Court, a 5-member bench headed by Chief Justice Qazi Faiz Isa heard it, Barrister Ali Zafar said yesterday that after the court orders, the founder PTI was met, police officers were also sitting in the meeting. It was not a lawyer-client meeting, the PTI founder himself requested to appear on the video link.
Chief Justice Qazi Faiz Isa asked Ali Zafar if he had a meeting with his client, to which he replied, “Yes, there was a meeting yesterday, but the meeting was not in isolation, the prison authorities were also present,” Barrister Ali Zafar told the court. requested that Imran Khan address the court himself, the PTI founder wanted to make a statement in the court through a video link, so the Chief Justice instructed him to go ahead and start the arguments.
Ali Zafar said that first Imran Khan should submit the reports in court. I will give the arguments, on which the Chief Justice noted Ali Zafar sir, you are a senior lawyer, you know how court proceedings work, Ali Zafar replied. My client has some objections on the bench, Imran Khan is not allowed to appear on the video link, so he has asked to put some things before the court, I have to take instructions from my client, and I have to follow the instructions.
