The 100 Index at the Pakistan Stock Exchange saw an increase of 1,180 points, with the index trading at 98,979 points during the session.
According to Forex dealers, the Dollar depreciated by 10 paisas in the interbank market, trading at 277 rupees and 66 paisas during the session.
It is noteworthy that during the previous trading day, the 100 Index saw an increase of over 2,000 points at one point, reaching a new all-time high of 99,632 points.
At the end of the previous trading day, the 100 Index closed with an overall increase of 469 points, ending at 97,978 points.
On the last day of the previous trading week, 96.99 million shares were traded, amounting to 35.16 billion rupees, and the market capitalization increased by 196 billion rupees, reaching a total of 12,525 billion rupees.
