Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko will arrive in Islamabad today. A 75-member delegation from Belarus had arrived in Islamabad on Sunday. The delegation includes Belarus’s Foreign Minister, as well as ministers for energy, industry, justice, communications, and natural resources, the chairman of the Military Industry Committee, and 43 major business personalities.
Mohsin Naqvi stated that the delegation is being warmly welcomed on their arrival in Islamabad. The government and people of Pakistan are eagerly awaiting the arrival of Belarusian President Aleksandr Lukashenko. The President’s visit is of great importance in strengthening bilateral relations.
Pakistan seeks to advance its relationship with Belarus in various fields, and the visit will help promote cooperation in industry, trade, and other sectors between the two countries.
President of Belarus, Aleksandr Lukashenko, will be on an official visit to Pakistan from tomorrow, November 27. During his visit, there will be a detailed meeting between the Belarusian President and Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif, where bilateral cooperation and collaboration in various fields will be discussed.
During the visit, multiple agreements and memoranda of understanding (MoUs) will be signed between Pakistan and Belarus. Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif had extended the invitation to President Aleksandr Lukashenko to visit Pakistan.
According to the Foreign Office spokesperson, the Belarusian ministerial delegation, led by Foreign Minister Maxim Ryzhankov, has arrived in Islamabad. Upon their arrival at the airport, they were welcomed by Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi, Additional Foreign Secretary (Europe) Shafqat Ali Khan, and Pakistan’s Ambassador to Belarus, Sajjad Haider Khan.
