In Kurram, due to road closures causing difficulties for citizens in transportation, helicopter service continues on the directives of the Chief Minister of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
Yesterday, the MI-17 helicopter made six flights to Kurram, providing air transport facilities to 145 patients. In the first flight, 29 patients were transported from Peshawar to Parachinar, and milk packets for children were also sent to Parachinar. In the second flight, 31 patients were transferred from Parachinar to Kohat.
Chief Minister Ali Amin Gandapur stated that 10 tons of medicines have been delivered to Kurram via helicopter so far, and he hopes for a peaceful resolution to the Kurram issue.
