Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party Bilawal Bhutto Zardari has said that like Shaheed Bhutto, Shaheed Mohtarma also believed in the power of the people. She considered laborers, farmers, and marginalized classes as the foundation of national development, just like the leader of the people.
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari paid tribute to Shaheed Benazir Bhutto on her 17th martyrdom anniversary.
He said, “I pay homage to Bibi Shaheed’s unparalleled sacrifices, unwavering leadership, and enduring legacy for the country.”
In his message on Benazir Bhutto’s martyrdom anniversary, Bilawal Bhutto Zardari stated that the best way to pay tribute to Bibi Shaheed is to turn her dream into reality. Her dream is of a democratic, progressive, and inclusive Pakistan, a Pakistan where the dignity and respect of every individual are ensured.
He further said, “It is our responsibility to make Shaheed Bibi’s dream come true, the dream of a Pakistan free from political, social, and economic exploitation. The day is not far when Shaheed Mohtarma’s vision of a just Pakistan will become a reality.”
Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said, “Shaheed Mohtarma’s life was a symbol of courage, perseverance, and hope for Pakistanis. Her struggle and life were deeply connected to the vision of the leader of the people. Shaheed Mohtarma was not just a political figure but a beacon of hope for the oppressed, subjugated, and marginalized classes.”
