A major good news has arrived for pilgrims who missed submitting their Hajj applications. The Ministry of Religious Affairs has decided to accept Hajj applications again for the remaining quota under the government scheme.
According to the Ministry of Religious Affairs sources, an additional 5,000 pilgrims can perform Hajj under the government scheme. The applications for these 5,000 spots will be accepted starting next week, and it is being considered to set 5 days for receiving new Hajj applications.
Sources say 81,500 applications were received under the government Hajj scheme, and the remaining 5,000 spots will now be opened for applications.
The Ministry of Religious Affairs has also decided not to conduct a lottery for the new Hajj applications. Hajj tickets will be confirmed on a first-come, first-served basis.
