Agreement Reached Between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia for Hajj 2025.
According to the spokesperson of Pakistan’s Ministry of Religious Affairs, Federal Minister for Religious Affairs Chaudhry Salik Hussain and Saudi Minister of Hajj and Umrah Dr. Tawfiq bin Fawzan Al-Rabiah signed the agreement. Under this agreement, 179,210 Pakistanis will perform Hajj this year.
During the event, it was agreed to provide the best possible facilities to Pakistani Hajj pilgrims. Special areas will be allocated for Pakistani pilgrims in Mina, and the rates for these will also be lower.
The Saudi Minister of Hajj assured full cooperation to provide better facilities for Pakistani pilgrims.
According to the spokesperson, the Ministry of Religious Affairs has introduced a shorter Hajj program of 20 to 25 days to make the journey more accessible, easy, and comfortable.
Pilgrims will have the option to choose their accommodation in Madinah for a period of 4 to 8 days. Each pilgrim will receive a specially designed bag containing the Pakistani flag, a QR code for identification, and relevant information. A special mobile app will provide all information to pilgrims on their mobile phones.
Pilgrims will be able to stay updated with information about their Hajj group, training schedule, flight details, accommodation in Saudi Arabia, payments, and live maps and locations of key sites during Hajj.
Federal Minister Chaudhry Salik Hussain will also participate in the ongoing four-day International Hajj Conference in Jeddah, organized by the Saudi Ministry of Hajj. Further agreements will be made with the organizations and companies responsible for providing services to pilgrims at the Hajj Expo.
