Dubai: The Australian team has suffered another major setback ahead of the ICC Champions Trophy, as all-rounder Mitchell Marsh has been ruled out of the tournament due to a back injury.

According to media reports, Marsh had been experiencing severe lower back pain and was undergoing rehabilitation. The Australian selection committee and medical team recommended his withdrawal from the tournament, with doctors advising him to rest further for complete recovery.

The deadline for squad changes for the ICC Champions Trophy is February 11. After this date, any replacement will require approval from the International Cricket Council (ICC).
