At the start of trading during the second day of the business week, a strong bullish trend was observed in the stock market. The 100-index recorded an increase of 739 points, pushing the index to trade at 113,484 points.
On the other hand, according to the Exchange Companies Association, the dollar’s value dropped in the interbank market. The dollar decreased by 9 paise, reaching 278 rupees and 95 paise.
It is worth noting that fluctuations in the dollar’s value continue. The US dollar tends to depreciate against the rupee at the start of trading but often sees an increase by the end of the business day.
The stock market’s positive momentum reflects investor confidence, while the dollar’s volatility remains a key factor influencing financial markets in Pakistan.
