Pakistan has put an end to the controversy over the absence of the Indian flag at the Champions Trophy, following protests by Indian media and YouTubers.
Recently, Indian journalists and social media experts were outraged over the absence of the Indian flag at the stadium during the Champions Trophy hosted by Pakistan. At the National Stadium Karachi, flags of all participating teams except India were displayed. Indian media and social media experts criticized the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) for not hoisting the Indian flag.
Meanwhile, Indian media, which has been running anti-Pakistan propaganda regarding the Champions Trophy, is now criticizing the absence of their national flag during the opening ceremony.
On social media, a Pakistani journalist shared a photo of the Indian team’s flag inside the National Stadium, captioning it, “The Indian flag has been hoisted at the National Stadium in Karachi. Our hearts are big; we are not petty like you.”

The journalist also mentioned in the caption that visas have been issued to all seven Indian journalists who applied for coverage of the Champions Trophy from the neighboring country.
