Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shibli Faraz has questioned the government’s performance over the past year, stating, “Apart from oppression, what else has the government done?”
Speaking to the media in Peshawar, he criticized the federal government, claiming it has done nothing for the people. “Those rejected by the public have been made ministers, and legislation has been carried out undemocratically to remain in power,” he said.
The PTI leader further alleged that turncoats and fugitives were gathered to form the cabinet while inflation in the country continued to soar. He added that PTI wants Maulana Fazlur Rehman to join them, and a committee has been formed to initiate discussions with him.
Shibli Faraz also stated that Maulana Fazlur Rehman will likely join them in the coming days, and the political struggle will continue after Eid. He highlighted that Ali Amin Gandapur’s government is working on maintaining law and order and resolving other issues, adding that terrorism in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa remains a serious concern. Still, Ali Amin Gandapur is trying to ensure peace and stability.
