Indian cricket team captain Rohit Sharma has set an unwanted record by losing 12 tosses in a row.
He has become the second captain to lose a dozen consecutive tosses. Before him, West Indies’ Brian Lara was the only captain to have lost 12 consecutive tosses in 1998 and 1999.
Rohit Sharma’s losing streak began after the final of the ODI World Cup 2023, and today, he lost his 12th consecutive toss against New Zealand in the Champions Trophy final.
After Brian Lara and Rohit Sharma, Netherlands captain Peter Borren ranks third on this list, having lost 11 consecutive tosses between 2011 and 2013.
