Pakistan cricket team’s batting consultant, Muhammad Yousuf, has confirmed his availability for the New Zealand tour after his daughter’s health improved.
According to the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), former cricketer Muhammad Yousuf had earlier withdrawn from the New Zealand tour due to his daughter’s illness.
Initially uncertain about traveling with the team, Yousuf has now decided to join the squad, as his daughter’s health has stabilized.
Muhammad Yousuf stated that doctors have confirmed his daughter’s condition is better, allowing him to travel with the team. He added that representing the national team is a duty, and he has decided to fulfill it.
Muhammad Yousuf will now accompany the Pakistan team on the New Zealand tour. He was appointed as the team’s batting consultant.
Pakistan’s cricket team is set to depart for New Zealand on the morning of March 12, where they will play a series of five T20 Internationals and three One Day Internationals against New Zealand.
