Jannat Mirza began her film career with Syed Noor’s movie Tere Bajre Di Rakhi, but the film failed at the box office, and she couldn’t make a successful debut as a film actress.
According to media reports, Jannat Mirza was also offered roles in dramas like Parizaad and Hum Kahan Ke Sachay Thay, but she turned down the offers.
Recently, Jannat Mirza appeared with her family on Shan-e-Sehar, a show aired on ARY Digital. During the conversation, she revealed the reason for not signing any drama projects.
She disclosed that she faces several hurdles when it comes to acting in dramas. Most dramas are shot in Karachi, and due to her fear of air travel, she avoids frequent trips to Karachi. She mentioned that she was even scared to travel by plane for this show.
Jannat added that signing a drama is a long-term commitment, which is another reason she prefers not to pursue acting in dramas.
When asked about moving to Karachi, Jannat Mirza said that she and her family prefer to live in Faisalabad, and her parents are not willing to relocate to Karachi.
