9 officers were martyred and 8 injured in an explosion near a police truck in Bolan area of Balochistan. According to police officials, a police truck was targeted in the explosion in Bolan.
According to DPO Sabi Yusuf Bhangar, the attack on the police truck was suicide and the attacker was riding a motorcycle.
Yusuf Bhangar said that 9 soldiers of Balochistan Constabulary band were martyred and 8 were injured in the blast. The band was returning after attending the Sabi Mela.
According to the DPO, 22 jawans were present in the truck at the time of the attack.
SSP Kachchi Mohammad Notizai said that the explosion was done by a motorcycle suicide bomber, the injured personnel are being immediately shifted to Civil Hospital Sabi for medical assistance.
SSP Khachi further said that immediately after the blast, the bomb disposal team reached the spot, the area is being searched.
