The Council of Ministers in Kuwait has announced public holidays for the days of Arafat and Eid al-Adha.
According to Arab media, the Council has declared general holidays from Thursday, June 5 to Sunday, June 8, 2025. Monday, June 9 will be considered a rest day, while regular work in offices will resume from Tuesday, June 10.
According to the Emirates Astronomy Society, Eid al-Adha is expected to fall on Friday, June 6, 2025, based on astronomical estimates. It is one of the most significant festivals in the Islamic calendar.
It is noteworthy that the moon is expected to be sighted on May 27 as a sign of the beginning of the month of Dhul-Hijjah, after which the official date for Eid will be announced.
