The Ministry of Human Resources in Saudi Arabia has sealed 10 recruitment agencies and revoked the licenses of 27 others during the third quarter of this year due to regulatory violations. The ministry said the agencies failed to address the violations within the given timeframe.
According to the official news agency SPA, inspection teams from the Ministry of Human Resources reported that a total of 37 recruitment agencies were found to be involved in various violations during the third quarter.
The ministry stated that 10 agencies were closed down for not complying with regulations, while licenses of 27 agencies were revoked after they failed to rectify their violations during the grace period.
The recorded violations included ignoring customer complaints, failure to comply with recruitment regulations, and delays in refunding payments to clients.
The ministry added that monitoring of recruitment agencies is carried out continuously, and inspection teams do not overlook even minor violations.
