The Meteorological Department has predicted further rainfall across the country during the current week. According to the department, a rainfall system is expected to enter the country on March 21, which will have an impact from March 22.
As per the Meteorological Department, thunderstorms with rainfall are expected in Quetta, Zhob, Qilaat, Barkhan, Khuzdar, Ziarat, Naseerabad, Sibi, and Jaffarabad districts of Balochistan.
The department has also forecasted rainfall in Punjab, Islamabad, Gilgit-Baltistan, and Kashmir from March 21 to 24, while clouds and rainfall are expected in Sindh and Karachi from March 21 to 23.
The department has expressed concerns about strong winds and hailstorms causing damage to weak infrastructure and standing crops in the country, and has advised tourists to be cautious during the rainfall.
