Prime Minister of Pakistan Shehbaz Sharif held a telephonic conversation with the newly elected Prime Minister of Azad Jammu and Kashmir, Raja Faisal Mumtaz Rathore, and extended his heartfelt congratulations on his election as the new AJK Prime Minister.
During the conversation, Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif conveyed his best wishes and expressed confidence that the new leadership would take effective measures for the progress, stability, and welfare of the people of Azad Kashmir.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif stated that the development and prosperity of the people of Azad Kashmir remain among the key priorities of the federal government and emphasized that Pakistan stands committed to ensuring a better and more secure future for the region. He further said that the federal government is determined to work jointly with the AJK government for public welfare, economic progress, prosperity, and the promotion of peace and security.
The Prime Minister reaffirmed that the federal government will extend full support and provide all possible assistance to the AJK government so that developmental goals can be achieved, and greater opportunities and facilities can be ensured for the people of the region.
