Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar held an informal meeting with the Prime Minister and Foreign Minister of Qatar, Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, in Moscow.
The meeting took place on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) Heads of Government Summit. According to the Foreign Office spokesperson, both leaders discussed various aspects of bilateral relations and exchanged views on shared priorities for enhancing regional cooperation.
During the conversation, Ishaq Dar and the Qatari prime minister reviewed opportunities for expanding cooperation across multiple sectors and emphasized the importance of strengthening bilateral engagement. The discussion also highlighted regional dynamics and the need for coordinated efforts to promote stability and economic collaboration.
It is worth noting that a day earlier, Ishaq Dar also met Russian President Vladimir Putin in Moscow. According to the Foreign Office, heads of government from SCO member states also attended the meeting, where matters related to regional cooperation, economic connectivity, and mutual objectives within the SCO framework were discussed.
